Compose a 400 to 500-word news story (double-spaced, 12 pt. type)

Be sure to include:

• Headline (all caps, boldface, centered, one line only)
• Byline (italicized)
• Dateline (see below)
• An interesting lead that contains who, what, when, where, why and how
• At least two quotes (cannot be from the same person) with names and titles (failure to include and source = -5 points each)
• Excellent AP style, proper grammar, punctuation and spelling
• Page numbers, use of (more) and ###
• An appropriate conclusion
• A word count at the end of the assignment  (failure to meet and/or include word count = -10 pts.)
