Assignment 2: Crime Theories

Write a two to three (2-3) page paper in which you:

1. Select one (1) of the theories suggested to be the cause of digital crime and explain the theory in your own words as it relates to crime in general.

2. Describe why the theory chosen could be recognized as the most relevant in terms of being a cause of digital crime.

3. Provide at least two (2) examples of non-digital crimes that could be considered caused by this same theory.

4. Use at least three (3) quality references for this assignment.

Your assignment must:

– Be typed, double spaced, using Times New Roman font (size 12), with one-inch margins on all sides; references must follow APA.

– Include a cover page containing the title of the assignment, the student’s name, the professor’s name, the course title, and the date. The cover page and the reference page are not included in the required page length.

– Use technology and information resources to research issues in information technology in criminal justice.
