How my company is using technology

Before starting the MBA I used to work at one of the famous real estate companies in Bangladesh. The name of the company was Concord Real Estate Company. I worked over there for almost one year. Here, I am going to share what technologies and how these are used by this real estate company. These technologies have helped this real estate company to save time, to give quick service to the customers, and also it has helped this real estate company to reduce cost. Moreover, these technologies have helped this company to expand quickly and efficiently. The technologies my organization used to have which are given bellow:

1. Computer: Concord Real Estate Company uses so many computers for several purposes. They have the LAN (local area network) through this all computers are connected with each other’s. As a result employees could share all the files, folders, videos, photos to all computers in the office. It made our work easier and faster. They kept the record of all the activities and store important data in these computers.

2. Internet: It is one of the important technologies for every organization. We know that internet plays very crucial role for the development of business. We cannot even think a single day without it. It has been become a part of our life. We are connected with the whole world through internet. They used to send and receive email, operate their website, communicate with their clients, recruit manpower, promote and sell their real estate products etc. All these activities they did with the help of internet.

3. Telecommunication: it plays very important role to maintain the communication for every organization. All employees of this my organization were connected through land phone and cell phone. They also communicate with the clients through land phone and cell phone. All the employees could access with the internet through mobile device that made the communication much easier. They could do video conference, exchange of email, live chatting and so many things for having the access with the internet through mobile device. They could communicate with each other from anywhere with the help of telecommunication. It made our organization’s performance better.

4. Fax: It is also an important part of any organization for communication. My organization used to have this device and through this they exchange important paper documents within few seconds. That made our work faster and easier.

5. Email management: Most of the organizations have their several email accounts to manage the different aspects of the organization. My organization used to manage all the emails because managing email is very important to stay organized for any organization.

6. Printer and scanner: These two devices are very important for every organization. My organization used to have these for printing and scanning important documents.

­­­7. CCTV Cameras: Most of the organizations use CCTV cameras to secure their places. My organization also used to have these cameras to make sure the security of the place. They could monitor the office place and track everything. 

Technologies help every organization to use their limited resources properly for the best outcome. Almost all the organization has the touch of technology that makes everything easier and well organized. Moreover it makes the organization profitable. Technologies help organizations to overcome various problems.
