Read the materials provided regarding “tragedy of the commons” (OCR, Ch. 3, p. 48) and consider our dependence upon oil and coal which are a natural but limited resources that have also been linked to poor air quality and serious climate changes.  What would Aristotle think of the influence of the lobbyists, who persuade Washington legislators to refrain from imposing restrictions upon the coal and oil industries? (See Ch. 3 pp. 49; 61 and 67).
