"A College Education: What Is Its Purpose?" Please notice how he addresses the question "What is College For?" first by discussing what other people in this debate have argued (on page 464), then he presents three arguments for the importance of college: improving people's lives, making people better citizens, and giving people the tools to enjoy life. After reading this article please tell us in your primary post (of at least 300 words) what the value of a college education is to you. Your views may agree or disagree with the author's but please fully explain your answer and provide reasons and examples where needed

Describe the importance of using assessment tools to measure student literacy skills. How will assessment data collected from these tools drive your classroom instruction? How will you be sure to meet individual student needs based on the assessment information you receive? Be specific.

1. The Winchester Arms company tabulates the following data on it's standard velocity 22LR ammunition. The bullet's speed is measured at the following distances (given in yards) down range from the muzzle: {0, 25, 50, 75, 100, 125, 150, 175, 200} and, at those distances, they obtain the following speed values in ft./sec. {1116, 1062, 1017, 979, 947, 918, 891, 866, 843}. Form a table of these distances and speeds (form extra columns to express in SI units!)

Form two final columns in your table to record your estimate of the time elapsed over each interval and the total elapsed time at the end of each interval. Finally, form a graph of average acceleration versus average speed and comment briefly on the qualities of high-velocity ballistics

Not every assessment should be utilized with every student. Suppose you have three students: one reads below grade level, one on grade level, and one above grade level. For each of these students, identify the types of assessments you would administer and why you chose one over another.
