Complete the following for this assignment:

Compare and contrast the management information systems (MIS) in place in 2 distinctly different organizations.

Compare each organization’s use of information systems to help manage internal operations and to make decisions.

Assess how these two organizations use information technology for competitive advantage.

Appraise the individual and organizational consequences of the use of information technology, and recognize potential security breaches and computer crimes.

Present your findings in a Word document of 5–6 body pages formatted in APA style.

Please submit your assignment.

Submitting your assignment in APA format means, at a minimum, you will need the following:

Title page: Remember the running head. The title should be in all capitals.

Abstract: A summary of your paper, not an introduction. Begin writing in third-person voice.

Body: The body of your paper begins on the page following the title page and abstract page and must be double-spaced (be careful not to triple- or quadruple-space between paragraphs). The type face should be 12-pt. Times Roman or 12-pt. Courier in regular black type. Do not use color, bold type, or italics except as required for APA-level headings and references. The deliverable length of the body of your paper for this assignment is 2–3 pages. In-body academic citations to support your decisions and analysis are required. A variety of academic sources is encouraged.

Reference page: References that align with your in-body academic sources are listed on the final page of your paper. The references must be in APA format using appropriate spacing, hang indention, italics, and upper- and lowercase usage as appropriate for the type of resource used. Remember, the Reference Page is not a bibliography but a further listing of the abbreviated in-body citations used in the paper. Every referenced item must have a corresponding in-body citation

Narrative Essay

Choose 1 and construct a narrative essay of around 800 words in the model of The New York Times “Lives” essays from the document attached.

You must use a central story to illustrate a larger understanding of relationships or ideas. The essay may feature other people, but it must be in the first person. Don’t try to tell your whole life story.

You must come to a conclusion about a broader meaning for the story told in your essay. You don’t need to explicitly state your conclusion, but the reader (me) must be able to infer some larger meaning about your story.

Use concrete (specific) details and/or dialogue to make your story resonate with the readers.

Double-spaced with numbered pages

In Times New Roman 12-point font

Title your paper, but do not make a separate title page. Keep your paper’s title in 12-

point Times New Roman, and center it before the paper’s body, but do not use the bold or italics function.

Document your sources & use correct citation form MLA format

 Exercise #3: “Shitty” First Drafts

Your third exercise asks that you produce a “Shitty First Draft”. By “Shitty First Draft”, I mean you should try and write a rough version of your essay.  After you read Lamott’s essay on Moodle, you will understand this assignment more.  Although this assignment is a partial essay, you should at least have your introduction written and the rest of the essay outlined.

►Write a Draft of your paper that shows your awareness of the issue or one’s own identity. It is not a complete draft, but a partial draft. You should use the “Word Picture” and the “Scene” as pre-planning work.

Manuscript Notes: Your Draft should at least be two pages. At least, it must include an introduction, body paragraphs outlined, and the beginnings of a conclusion.
